Look What I Did!

I know, two posts in one day!  Unheard of!  But, I was looking at Mockingbird Hill Cottage (a favorite blog - go visit Claudia immediately!) and this is what I found: Pixlr!

It is a really fun photo editing website.  It is idiot proof.  Just look what I did!

I took this...

...and turned it into this!

And I took this...

...and made this!

Aren't they pretty and vintage-y (is that a word)?  They look like they were suffused with sunshine and it was a pretty cloudy day when I took them.  I love these two photos, and now I love them even more! Thanks, Claudia!

  2. Alaska, WOW! I bet it's beautiful!!! I love looking at all that snow as we're sitting here with 70 degree weather, doesn't feel much like winter.

In regards to the cookies, the crisco and butter will make it harden. I recommend going easy on the extra cream and I'd try to make this a day ahead of time so that the frosting has dried completely. It won't be sticky!!!
