But before you do, read my profile to learn about me and why I started blogging at Home In Douglas.
And, if you leave a comment by February 14th, you can win a giveaway of a lovely, handcrafted icon prayer shrine, featuring a reproduction of a hand painted icon by Charles!
Paula- the party started today. The last date to sign up to participate ( on the official sign up post) was the 15th. You did not enter or ask to participate-- so you are not on the list :(
ReplyDeleteI will try to add your blog to the list tonight when I get home- it will be late---
Hopefully next year you can participate by signing up early---
Xoxo

hello, Juneau sounds like a great place.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet heart! Thanks Vicki!
ReplyDeleteHi Paula, Just found your blog and can't wait to read more. I love finding new blog friends from folks in different parts of the country and learning what life is like in THEIR neck of the woods. I don't think I'm following anyone else in Alaska. Looking forward to learning more about you.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
DeleteHey Paula! I'm so glad to have found your blog :) I hope I'll get to learn a little bit about Alaska now! I do have one question - do you get to see the Northern Lights there often? :)
ReplyDeleteWhen the skies are dark and clear, we can see them - mostly in Winter!
DeleteHi Paula! I found your blog from Grow Your Blog and like everyone else am so curious about life in Alaska - I live in the middle of England, so probably ver different! Though right now we have snow too...probably not *quite* as much ;)
ReplyDeleteLook forward to getting to know you more through your blog!
You might actually have more snow than we have right now - it is pouring rain at the moment. Southeast Alaska is a temperate rain forest, so our temperatures are quite a bit warmer than the Northern parts of the State.
DeleteVisiting from Grow Your Blog Party...So fun to visit. So nice to see so many different places. Your work sounds wonderful. Di

It is great to meet you through Vicki's GYB party. My husband lived in Alaska for a while when his father was in the AF. I have visited a couple of times. Your blog is very pretty.

Hey, howdy fellow Alaskan!! My hubby is currently stationed in AK and we live in Palmer. We love the beauty here but really miss family quite a bit. With 5 kids, it is hard to hop a plane every whip snitch.
ReplyDeleteStopping by from the GYB party.
Hi from the other side of the country in sunny Florida! We plan to visit Alaska soon and I can't wait! It looks awesome! You also have one of the most unique giveaways I've seen. Will be following:-)
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Terri
