Eternal Rest

There are no words to describe the horror of senseless violence.

No words to express the pain and grief of the families of victims of violent crime.

May God be with the poor souls in Colorado who were killed and wounded last night, and with their families.

May God be with the mother and father and sister of a young man killed by a gang of thugs in Arkansas a year ago.

May God be with us all.

  1. I can't even begin to imagine how one can do such violence. God bless those who are suffering from this tragedy.

  2. I also hear about a 20 year old young man who was walking across the country in a March for Life, who was killed by a car not far from us here in Indiana. He was discerning a priestly vocation. Such a cruel blow to his family. One day we will understand, but now, these young lives lost just bring out the sadness in us. We weep with those who weep.
