New Design

I finally figured out how to change the background of my blog, and to change the width of the background picture.

I am not technically gifted at all, rather, I am ham-handed, and I break out into a cold sweat at the thought of tinkering with the computer.  But, all things being equal, I like what I've done so far....

I wanted a nicer looking, lighter colored background, without it being too cutesy.

Anyway, if you like it (or don't like it), please let me know what you think!

Thanks again to all of you who are following my blog, and who take the time to comment - it brightens my day to know you are out there!

  1. It looks great! The photo is so nice with the happy red apple in the middle.
You are very brave, everytime I start trying to fool around with mine, something goes wrong.
Good for you for pulling it off.

  2. Thanks Sherri - I think I need a glass of wine to stop my hands from shaking!

  3. Looove the apple. I just stopped by a cider mill/apple farm here in NJ on my way home from work and have very similar looking bowl in my kitchen now. Plus a vase of purple tulips.

  4. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
I think eagles beat partridges any day of the week! We don't have anything as magnificent as that.

  5. As soon as I opened your page I said "Wow those apples look awesome up here!". It's neat how everyday things are really beautiful if we look at them in the right way.

Your blog looks super, Paula. But as you might be able to tell, I'm a little partial to blue ;)

Thank you for reading and all your comments, too. It is nice to know all our cyber friends are out there, isn't it?

  6. I was just thinking how much I love the background on your blog. I think it looks great. Not too busy, just nice and rustic. The apples are a nice touch.
Thank you for your comment on my blog. I've never had a visitor from Alaska before! I'm from Melbourne, Australia. Enjoy your weekend.
