Today, my mother would have been 100 years old. She was born December 11, 1911. She is probably glad that she didn't make it to 100 years of life - she died at age 93, after a long life that was a blessing to all of us.
In honor of her, I am posting a rerun of a previous post about her. She was so great - so funny, so wise and one of the most beautiful women in the world.
I celebrated today by making Biscochitos - a traditional New Mexican Christmas cookie that she always made for us! I will post more about Biscochitos in a couple of days. Meanwhile, click here to enjoy this glimpse of my mom!
